-I am pleased to report that the 2003 Bulletin was placed on-line in October 2003. -One feature I look forward to each year is the “Component Chapter Activities” page. Each spring I send a letter to the secretary-treasurer of each component chapter asking for activities, pictures and other points of interest that his/her chapter would like to share. I try to put together an attractive page based upon the information that is sent to me. When you click on the chapter’s name you are sent to that chapter’s activity page. I am always impressed with some of the splendid programs that are being undertaken by our various component chapters. I hope that each chapter would take the opportunity to avail themselves of this feature in future issues of the “Bulletin”. -Once again an "Annual Report" form was available on the website. Thirty-six (36) chapter secretaries made use of the form in order to submit an annual chapter report, which is a sixty-seven percent (63%) response. An annual chapter report is required to be submitted by each component chapter secretary under our bylaws. As requested, all past electronic "Chapter Reports" (2002, 2003) were forwarded to Secretary-Treasurer Suzuki for archiving. -The website is kept as current and accurate as possible so that members can turn to the website for information. The list of component chapter secretary-treasurers (with their mailing address, e-mail address and telephone numbers) is as current as the information that is on hand at the Supreme Chapter. Dates have been placed on each page informing the visitor as to the last update of that page. The names, addresses and phone numbers of each of the Board members can be found on the page entitled “Administration”. There is also an active e-mail link to each Board member. -All our various order forms (membership & insignia, Kramer, etc.) were once again available on the website for download. These forms are interactive, in that the fields on the form may be filled in before printing. Once again this represented a considerable savings in duplication and postage. -I would like to extend congratulations to Pi Pi chapter at Howard University as they have put their own website online. Links to their website have been placed on the Supreme Chapter website. I am aware of only two other chapters with their own website, and they are Omega Chapter at NYU and Omega Omega Chapter at New Jersey. If any other chapter has a website please let me know. -As soon as the proposed amendments to the bylaws are acted upon later this afternoon, a downloadable, line numbered edition of the bylaws will be placed on the website. -As I begin to put together the 2004 issue of the “Bulletin” I will once again contact each component chapter secretary asking about activities. Please be sure to not only include a list of activities, but also pictures. I look forward to hearing from all our chapters. Please remember that the Chapter Award Selection committees uses this information as well as the “Annual Chapter Report” to determine the recipient of the “Chapter Award.” Please pass this information along to your chapter secretary.
