Omicron Pi Chapter Mourns Loss of Dr. Robert T. Probst-
Dr. Robert T. "Jim" Probst joined the faculty of the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in 1976.  He served in the Department of Dental Materials until his retirement as Professor Emeritus in 1997.  He continued to serve in an advisory and consultant capacity for the Department of Dental Materials until 2007.

In 1982, he assumed the position of secretary-treasurer of Omicron Pi chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society at the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.  He maintained that position until health reasons caused him to resign in the summer of 2007.  During his tenure as secretary-treasurer he was responsible for the success of the many annual activities of the chapter.    Dr. Probst will always be remembered by the members of Omicron Pi chapter for his dedication and attention to detail in his position as secretary-treasurer.  

He passed away on October 6, 2007.
