COMPONENT CHAPTERSThe number of
component
chapters has steadily increased over the years. From the first chapter at
Northwestern University (Alpha Chapter) in 1914 to our most recent
chapter, Beta Alpha, at the Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health,
seventy (70) chapters
have been chartered. Twelve (12) chapters have become inactive as
their dental schools have been discontinued. There are presently 58 active
chapters.
